I wandered into
my friends studio and there by the wood stove was another friend of ours
pinching a pot. He had an Egyptian towel draped over his lap, and I sat
down on the couch facing him and sketched. The creative energies in that
room were palpable. We all have a special affinity for FIRE, and I could
feel the urgings of this elemental God speaking to the clay molder. Hot
Pot of Soul is the first in my "artist at work" series. I'm
covering the elements, with Ele-Metal being about METAL. |
