A good friend of
ours is a welder and has made amazing sculptures that adorn many outdoor
places -- now all over the world. I've been creating an "artist at
work" series, of which "Hot Pot of Soul" was the first
painting, and I was inspired by Mike's focused stance. I asked my dear
friend to take a digital shot of him, which as you might know is very
dangerous to eye sight. The shots were great and I was able to create
this painting back in my studio, and I feel it brings justice to the light
created by the welder working in his medium. |
